Nevis is a little off of the beaten track, but that’s what makes our island that much more special. Still, getting to Nevis is easier and more convenient than ever and likely involves a boat ride!
Travelers now enjoy new non-stop jet service a short distance away to St. Kitts, Nevis’ sister isle – this on top of numerous flights already in place from regional and international destinations.
Once in St. Kitts, enjoy a relaxing and breezy 50-minute ferry ride to quaint Charlestown, the capital of Nevis, from the bustling Basseterre port in St. Kitts. Taxis shuttle visitors from the airport to the Basseterre ferry dock all day long.
Or, for a few dollars more, jump on a water taxi that will drop you on the beach in Nevis inside 15 minutes. Water taxi operators work with St. Kitts land taxi operators to ensure that you’re picked up at the St. Kitts airport and dropped off at the dock to greet your boat.
Depending on schedule and point of origin, visitors may have the option of flying right into Nevis on a ‘puddle jumper’ - a handful of small regional carriers land in Nevis on a regular basis.
