Charlestown, Nevis Walking Tour
Charlestown is the perfect example of how we live and work in our history on Nevis. This is a walking tour of Nevis’ historic capital. It includes brief stops at the grounds of the Alexander Hamilton Museum, centuries-old churches, one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in the Caribbean, our soothing hot springs, and the 18th-century Bath Hotel grounds.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Harness an opportunity to see Charlestown in a way that most people do not. Our guide will pull back the carpet (literally) and show you what most guests on Nevis typically miss. You will walk through the streets of Charlestown learning about the history of Nevis and seeing how we live, work and interact in the business center of Nevis. This is a guided tour. It travels at the pace of the slowest guest. It is not hilly and includes some normal uneven surfaces like roads and sidewalks. There will be conversations about things seen along the way. Brief stops are frequent to visit historic sites. When finished, you will be amazed at how much you learned and how great you feel after this physical and gratifying activity.
