Nevis hotel guide

Four Seasons Resort Nevis

A practical guide for guests staying at Four Seasons Resort Nevis on Pinney’s Beach, including the two ways to arrive from SKB Airport — at the resort’s Reception or directly at the resort pier — plus water-taxi connections and selected inter-resort travel.

Two ways to arrive — compare the Reception and direct-to-pier transfers before you book.

Getting to Four Seasons Resort Nevis

There are two ways to arrive with Book Nevis. Both are fully private and fully coordinated — the difference is where your journey ends.

Best value

Arrive at Reception

Private transfer from SKB Airport across St. Kitts, a private water taxi to Nevis, then a private car to the resort’s Reception.

SKB Airport → Reggae Beach → Oualie Pier → Four Seasons Reception. Around 60 minutes from meeting your driver after customs.

From US$399

per private transfer — up to 4 passengers

Direct to the pier

Premium arrival

Luxury private vehicle from SKB Airport followed by a private boat directly to Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier.

Which should I choose?

The Reception transfer is a complete private journey that ends at the resort’s Reception.

The direct-to-pier transfer arrives by private boat at the resort’s own pier — the premium direct-to-pier option.

Where it is

Where Four Seasons Resort Nevis is

Four Seasons Resort Nevis sits on Pinney’s Beach, on the Nevis side of the channel that separates Nevis from St. Kitts. It is the largest resort on the island, and for many international travellers it is the reason they fly into St. Kitts (SKB) rather than a smaller regional airport.

Because the resort is on Nevis, most arrivals from SKB combine a short road transfer across St. Kitts with a private water-taxi crossing. The resort has its own pier, so you can choose to arrive by private boat directly at Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier, or take the Reception transfer via Oualie Pier with a private car on to the resort’s Reception.

  • On Pinney’s Beach, Nevis.
  • Arrival through SKB usually involves a St. Kitts road transfer plus a water taxi.
  • Arrive at the resort’s Reception via Oualie Pier, or by private boat directly at Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier.
  • Useful for guests combining Nevis with a St. Kitts stay.
Airport transfers

Getting between SKB Airport and Four Seasons

Both transfers start the same way: you are met after customs at SKB — look for the Book Nevis sign — and driven by private vehicle across St. Kitts to the water-taxi pier, then cross to Nevis by private water taxi. Luggage is handled from the airport through to the resort, and water and local drinks are available on board the private water taxi.

Reception transfer: the water taxi lands at Oualie Pier, where a private car takes you on to the resort’s Reception — SKB Airport → Reggae Beach → Oualie Pier → Four Seasons Reception. Around 60 minutes from meeting your driver after customs at SKB Airport to Four Seasons Resort Nevis Reception.

Direct-to-pier transfer: a luxury private vehicle from SKB followed by a private boat directly to Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier.

For departures each route runs in reverse. Use your flight departure time when booking: pickup is timed to cover the road and water legs and airport check-in, and your confirmation email carries the final pickup details.

Inter-resort travel

From Four Seasons to St. Kitts resorts

Some guests combine Four Seasons Nevis with a stay at Park Hyatt St. Kitts or St. Kitts Marriott Resort. These are inter-island routes, and the arrangement differs depending on the resort.

Park Hyatt St. Kitts has its own pier, so the Four Seasons route to Park Hyatt is pier-to-pier: a private water-taxi crossing between the two resort piers. The Marriott sits inland at Frigate Bay, so that route adds a St. Kitts road leg after the water taxi. They are booked as separate products.

Planning

When it is worth booking ahead

Arranging your transfer in advance helps most when timing or logistics matter:

  • Families or larger groups travelling with luggage.
  • Late arrivals or early departures.
  • Stays split between St. Kitts and Nevis.
  • Guests using resort pier connections.
  • Peak travel dates and busy holiday weeks.
  • Travellers who want arrival details arranged before landing.
FAQ

Four Seasons Resort Nevis transfer questions

How do I get from SKB Airport to Four Seasons Nevis?

You are met after customs at SKB and driven across St. Kitts to the water-taxi pier, then cross to Nevis by private water taxi. With the Reception transfer (from US$399) you land at Oualie Pier and continue by private car to the resort’s Reception — around 60 minutes in total. With the direct-to-pier transfer (from US$550) the private boat takes you straight to Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier. Each is arranged as one booking.

Does Four Seasons Nevis have its own pier?

Yes. The resort has its own pier, and the direct-to-pier transfer arrives there by private boat. The Reception transfer instead lands at Oualie Pier and continues by private car to the resort’s Reception — both are bookable online.

Is Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier the same as Reception?

No. The pier and Reception are different arrival points, which is why there are two transfers: the Reception transfer ends at the resort’s Reception, and the direct-to-pier transfer ends at Four Seasons Resort Nevis Pier.

Which airport do you fly into for Four Seasons Nevis?

Most international visitors fly into Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB) on St. Kitts and continue to Nevis by private water taxi as part of the transfer.

Can I use the public ferry to get to Four Seasons Nevis?

The public ferry runs to Charlestown, the main town on Nevis, not to the resort. Using it from SKB still means a taxi to Basseterre, the ferry crossing, and another taxi on Nevis to the resort. For most Four Seasons guests a private transfer with the water crossing arranged is the simpler way to book the whole route at once. How early should I leave Four Seasons Nevis for my SKB flight?

Enter your SKB flight departure time when booking. Your pickup time is planned around the road and water legs and airport check-in, and your confirmation email includes the final pickup details.

Can I book Four Seasons to Park Hyatt transport?

Yes. Park Hyatt St. Kitts has its own pier, so the route is a pier-to-pier private water-taxi crossing between the two resorts, booked in either direction.

Can I book Four Seasons to Marriott transport?

Yes. The Marriott is at Frigate Bay on St. Kitts, so this route combines the water-taxi crossing with a road leg on St. Kitts. It is a separate product from the Park Hyatt route.

Can I book both arrival and departure transfers?

Yes. Arrival and departure are booked as separate products, so you can reserve the SKB to Four Seasons transfer, the return, or both. Booking a matching arrival and return pair together applies a roundtrip saving in the cart.
