Are these tours really private?
Yes. Every Book Nevis tour is for your party only — there are no shared vehicles or fixed group schedules. Your driver-guide plans the day around your pace and your interests.
When do the Nevis tours run?
All three private tours run Monday to Friday. Several of the heritage sites, museums and gardens on the itinerary are closed at weekends, so we keep tours to weekdays to give you the full experience.
Where do we meet on the day?
For the land tours you can choose between Oualie Water Taxi Facility, Charlestown Ferry Terminal, or pickup from any Nevis hotel. For the Cruise Excursion we meet you at Port Zante Cruise Terminal in St. Kitts. Look for a Book Nevis sign at your meet point.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 2 days ahead for the Half-Day and Highlights tours, and at least 3 days ahead for the Cruise Excursion. Cruise dates fill quickly in high season — earlier is always better.
What is your cancellation policy?
Full refund more than 30 days before the tour. Between 7 and 30 days, full refund less a US$70 booking fee. Between 48 hours and 7 days, a 50% refund. Inside 48 hours, no refund. Changes are free if availability allows — just email sales@booknevis.com.
Cruise excursions. The Private Nevis Cruise Excursion from St. Kitts has its own policy: 100% refund more than 7 days before the excursion, 75% from 48 hours to 7 days, and no refund inside 48 hours. It is also covered by our Cruise Ship Guarantee — a full refund if your ship cannot call at St. Kitts.
