Air Canada Returns to St Kitts Earlier This Winter
Air Canada will begin its seasonal St Kitts schedule on Saturday 31 October 2026, which tourism officials describe as one month earlier than the traditional late-November start. The St Kitts and Nevis Information Service reported the date on 4 October 2026, following a Ministry of Tourism press conference on 1 October.
This is an earlier start to an existing seasonal service, not a new route. Air Canada’s St Kitts flights link Toronto Pearson (YYZ) with Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport (SKB). Operating days, times and fares should be checked directly with Air Canada, as schedules can change before a season begins. Our guide to flights into St Kitts covers the other winter gateways.
What the earlier start means for Canadian visitors
The change is to the calendar. With the season opening on 31 October rather than late November, travellers from Toronto can plan a Nevis stay in early or mid-November around Air Canada’s St Kitts flights.
November falls just before the peak season on Nevis, which runs from December to April. Anyone who prefers the island before the main winter months now has another way to get there.
The announcement covers the start date only. It does not tell us anything about fares, the number of flights or how full they will be, so compare the actual options for your dates before committing to accommodation.
Landing at SKB when you are staying on Nevis
SKB is on St Kitts. Nevis lies to the south-east across a narrow channel known as The Narrows, so a Nevis holiday continues after you land.
With a Book Nevis private airport transfer, your driver meets you as you exit the customs area, holding a Book Nevis sign. For most Nevis destinations, the drive to Reggae Beach on the Southeast Peninsula takes about 30 minutes. A private water taxi then crosses to Oualie Pier in around 6 to 8 minutes. Guests of Four Seasons Resort Nevis cross directly to the resort’s own pier instead.
What happens on the Nevis side depends on the transfer you choose. Routes to a hotel, villa or residence include a driver waiting at the pier; pier-only routes finish when you step off the boat. The how to get to Nevis guide compares this with the public ferry and with flying into Nevis.
Before you book your airport transfer
Book your flights with Air Canada or your travel adviser first. Book Nevis does not sell flights. Once your flights are confirmed, have these details ready:
- Your arrival date and Air Canada flight number into SKB, so we can track the flight
- The full name of your hotel, villa or residence on Nevis
- The number of travellers, any children needing car seats, and any large items such as golf clubs
- Your return flight from SKB, if you would like the journey back arranged at the same time
Please book your airport transfer at least 48 hours before your scheduled transfer. If Air Canada changes your flight after you book, let us know so the driver and water taxi can be moved to match.
Once your Air Canada booking is confirmed, find your private airport transfer to Nevis.
