Trans Anguilla Airways Opens St Kitts Airport Office: What Nevis Visitors Should Know

Trans Anguilla Airways has opened a dedicated office at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on St Kitts, with a locally based team. Caribbean Journal reported the development on 30 September 2026.

For visitors considering Nevis as part of a wider Caribbean trip, it is a useful reminder to look carefully at regional travel options. The office opening concerns the airline’s local presence; it does not by itself confirm a new flight route or timetable.

The best starting point is your full journey, from your first departure airport to the place where you will spend the night.

Check the airport code on every flight

St Kitts and Nevis are neighbouring islands, but arriving at one does not mean you have arrived at the other. SKB is Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport on St Kitts. NEV is Vance W. Amory International Airport on Nevis.

Check the airport code on each ticket rather than relying on a destination description. It affects whether you need an inter-island crossing and where your accommodation pickup should begin.

If you are looking at regional flights, ask the airline to confirm the exact airports, operating dates and whether the itinerary involves a connection. Also check whether the service you are considering is scheduled or requires a charter enquiry.

Look beyond the flight time

Two flights that appear to connect neatly may involve separate tickets, collecting luggage or checking in again. Before buying, establish how the connection works and who you would contact if the first flight were delayed.

Ask about baggage allowances too, particularly if you are carrying large cases or sports equipment. Use the allowance for the flight you will actually take, rather than assuming it matches your international airline’s rules.

Our planning advice is to allow breathing room between separately arranged parts of a trip. An earlier arrival or an overnight stop may be preferable to a connection that depends on every stage running exactly to time.

Flying into St Kitts and staying on Nevis?

An arrival at SKB can be followed by a private airport transfer to Nevis. The route you choose determines the crossing and whether an onward Nevis vehicle is included.

When you book, provide your arrival flight details, passenger numbers and full accommodation name. Make sure the booked destination is where you want the service to finish. A pier-only transfer needs a separate plan for getting from the pier to your accommodation.

Book Nevis arranges the private transfer; flight reservations should be made with the airline or your travel adviser. If you subsequently change your flight, tell us so the ground and boat arrangements can be reviewed.

Build the return into your island-hopping plan

Before confirming a multi-island holiday, work through it in both directions. Check how you will leave Nevis, where the next flight departs and how much time is needed before check-in.

Keep the flight and transfer confirmations together, with a contact for each provider. Share the itinerary with anyone travelling with you so the group knows the pickup points and destinations.

The new airport office is a regional aviation development worth following. For your own trip, confirmed flights and clearly arranged onward transport are what make the itinerary workable. Once your flights are booked, choose your Book Nevis transfer around them.
